The Reader's Quest is an online reading program that encourages independent reading. It provides tools to parents and/ or teachers to allow them to monitor and motivate their children to read good books and to write great stories.

The Reader's Quest is a homeschool-friendly site, but it is not just for homeschoolers. It is for any parent or grandparent interested in encouraging their child's reading and writing.

Kids love The Reader's Quest because it makes reading and writing fun. Kids earn points for reading books. After earning a certain amount of points, readers' names are entered into point clubs.

The Reader's Quest features Author Spotlights and book reviews written by and for children, and our newest feature, is the Writer's Voice, just for kids, designed with your child's safety in mind.

Parents love The Reader's Quest because it allows parents the ability to customize reading lists, set goals, and print reading records. Parents are able to monitor and guide the reading progress of their child. The Reader's Quest also provides the parent with resources to assess their child's reading level. The Writer's Voice allows the child to write until their heart's content, however all entries and comments must be approved by the parent. Upon approval, all entries are immediately published to the world wide web. There is also a Parent to Parent forum that provides support and encouragement to the parent.
